Iran Mall, located near Chitgar Lake in the 22nd district of Tehran, is a large commercial, recreational, cultural, and sports complex. It is considered the largest shopping mall in the world in terms of its Western Tehran market. This complex includes several hotels, including a five-star hotel, and houses the Iran Mall Cinema Complex, featuring the only IMAX cinema in Iran. Construction of this project, spanning 1,699,050 square meters, began in 2009.
